If would like to connect with other local writers, our Writer’s Group could be for you. Facilitated by _(author/ writing department head at North Hennepin Community College)_ Kelly Lundquist, this is a safe space to create and think and talk about writing with others.  All levels of writers, and newcomers ages 18 or older welcome. Bring a current project or a blank piece of paper or laptop. 

 Each week we start with a general check-in on how everyone’s writing has been going and what, if anything everyone is working on. 

 Sometimes members bring a piece they would like feedback on from the group. If you’d like to do this, please make arrangements ahead of time with Kelly, who can supply some helpful guidelines. 

 Often, we will take some time to just work on our own writing quietly together, before taking some time at the end to see if anyone has something short (500 words or less) they’d like to share.
